While working at Grainger I was asked to help strategize and plan out the user experience flow for the Manufacturing Month campaign the company was doing. The business goal was to collect data from customers interested in manufacturing in order to market to them with future incentives and products. We created a gated experience where the customer filled out a short form that in turn allowed them to download a relevant report on the subject of metalworking. We also introduced the report with a video snippet from a Grainger metalworking team member. We reached the customer via email, social, and other media channels.
